Overview
The Durjoy class is a Chinese-built missile fast attack craft designed for Bangladesh Navy, fitted with C-802A anti-ship missiles providing a 120 km sea denial capability from compact, fast platforms. The 430-tonne vessels are armed with four C-802A missiles, a 76mm gun for surface engagement, and 37mm cannon for close-range air defense. Their high speed of 28 knots enables hit-and-run tactics against larger adversary surface combatants. The Durjoy class represents the most modern indigenous-designed class for Bangladesh Navy, built specifically for coastal and near-sea operations in the Bay of Bengal.
