Overview
Remote-controlled naval weapon station mounting a 20mm M621 cannon with electro-optical fire control for close-in defense of surface combatants against asymmetric threats, small fast attack craft, UAVs, and floating mines. Features day/night optics with thermal imaging, laser rangefinder, and automatic target tracking. Rate of fire of 900 rounds per minute with effective range of 2,000 metres. Extremely compact and lightweight design suitable for installation on vessels from patrol boats to frigates. Installed on FDI Belharra frigates, Mistral-class LHDs, and other French Navy vessels. Also adopted by export customers on Naval Group-built warships.
