Hamilton Class OPV (NNS Thunder)

Overview

Former US Coast Guard Hamilton-class cutter transferred to Nigerian Navy as NNS Thunder in 2014. At 378 feet, it is the largest vessel in the Nigerian Navy. Operates in the Gulf of Guinea for counter-piracy, maritime security, and exclusive economic zone enforcement. Supports helicopter operations.
