Overview
The Diponegoro class (SIGMA 10514 design) represents the most capable surface combatants in the Indonesian Navy. Built by Damen Schelde in the Netherlands with significant technology transfer, they provide a modern platform with Exocet anti-ship missiles, MICA vertical launch air defense, and Thales fire control systems. Four ships were delivered, with subsequent SIGMA 10514P frigates being built domestically in Indonesia.
