C-802A Anti-Ship Missile
نظرة عامة على النظام
The C-802A is a Chinese subsonic anti-ship cruise missile developed by CASIC, representing an evolution of the C-802 series with improved seeker and guidance. Sea-skimming at 5-7 m altitude on a GPS/inertial midcourse guidance profile followed by active radar terminal homing, it engages surface targets at ranges up to 120 km. With a 165 kg semi-armor-piercing warhead, a single hit creates significant structural damage on frigates and smaller vessels. Bangladesh integrates the C-802A on its Durjoy-class fast attack craft and Jiangwei II frigates as the primary anti-ship weapon for Bay of Bengal sea denial operations.
