SİSTEM GENEL BAKIŞI
BrahMos-IIBrahMos-II is a planned hypersonic cruise missile being jointly developed by India and Russia, intended to achieve speeds of Mach 7-8 using a scramjet engine. Building on the success of the supersonic BrahMos missile, this next-generation weapon will be significantly faster and harder to intercept. It is expected to be deployable from land, sea, and air platforms.

BrahMos-II - BrahMos Aerospace
AVANTAJLAR
- Mach 7+ speed makes interception by any current missile defense system extremely difficult
- Scramjet propulsion represents a generational leap in cruise missile technology
- Strategic deterrent value against carrier battle groups and major surface combatants
- Would give India one of the most advanced anti-ship capabilities globally
DEZAVANTAJLAR
- Very early development stage — operational timeline likely 2030s at earliest
- Scramjet technology extremely challenging; few nations have operational systems
- Russian cooperation uncertain under ongoing sanctions environment
- Enormous R&D cost with uncertain technical outcome
