Overview
BrahMos-II is a planned hypersonic cruise missile being jointly developed by India and Russia, intended to achieve speeds of Mach 7-8 using a scramjet engine. Building on the success of the supersonic BrahMos missile, this next-generation weapon will be significantly faster and harder to intercept. It is expected to be deployable from land, sea, and air platforms.
