Boxer CRV / RCT30
Versatile 8x8 wheeled multi-role armoured vehicle built on a revolutionary modular drive/mission module concept that allows rapid role reconfiguration. The combat reconnaissance vehicle (CRV) variant mounts the Lance 2.0 turret with Rheinmetall MK30-2/ABM 30mm cannon and Spike LR missile. The RCT30 (Remote Controlled Turret 30mm) variant for the British Army features a similar armament package. Base vehicle weighs 33 tonnes with STANAG 4569 Level 4 protection (upgradeable to Level 6) and 720 hp MTU engine providing a top speed of 103 km/h. Mission modules include infantry carrier (8 troops), ambulance, command post, engineer, mortar carrier, and artillery (RCH 155). In service with Germany, Netherlands, UK, Australia, Lithuania, and ordered by multiple additional nations.

- Modular mission pod system allows rapid role change (APC, IFV, ambulance, C2)
- Excellent strategic mobility; road-mobile at highway speeds (103 km/h)
- Large international user base (Germany, UK, Australia, Lithuania)
- High mine/IED protection with V-hull design
- Wheeled; limited off-road mobility vs. tracked vehicles
- Heavy for a wheeled platform; some bridge limitations
- Module swap requires crane and logistics support
- Less protected than tracked IFVs like Puma or Lynx
