The Kh-59MK2 is a long-range air-launched cruise missile designed for precision strike against fixed land targets. It is an evolution of the Kh-59 family, featuring terrain-following navigation combined with GPS/GLONASS and optical terminal guidance. Algeria operates the Kh-59MK2 on its Su-30MKA fleet for standoff precision strike capability, enabling attack of hardened targets from outside air defense envelopes.
