DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA
Avión de alerta temprana y control aéreo de próxima generación basado en la plataforma de transporte Il-76MD-90A. Presenta radar AESA de doble banda que proporciona cobertura de 360 grados, sistemas avanzados de gestión de batalla y enlaces de datos digitales. Diseñado para reemplazar a los envejecidos aviones A-50/A-50U Mainstay. Capacidad crítica para las operaciones aéreas rusas después de que los ataques ucranianos destruyeran/danificaran la flota existente de AWACS.
