The Krasukha-4 (1RL257) is a ground-based broadband multifunctional jamming system designed to suppress AWACS radar aircraft, ground-based surveillance radars, and reconnaissance satellites. Mounted on a Kraz-6350 8x8 truck, it uses active noise jamming across a wide frequency spectrum with a claimed effective range of 300 km. It is designed to protect assets from airborne and spaceborne radar surveillance and can disrupt GPS guidance of precision-guided munitions. Several Krasukha-4 vehicles have been destroyed in Ukraine. Its effectiveness against modern ECM-hardened Western systems remains debated by analysts.
