Overview
The J-35 (previously FC-31 Gyrfalcon) is China's naval fifth-generation carrier-based stealth fighter, intended to operate from Type 003 Fujian's EMALS catapult. It is a twin-engine multirole aircraft with stealth shaping, internal weapons bays, and advanced avionics. The J-35 fills the role of the F-35C equivalent in PLAN carrier aviation, providing stealth strike and air superiority capability from Chinese carriers.
