Overview
Indonesia signed a contract in 2023 for 24 Boeing F-15IDN (Indonesia) advanced multirole fighters as part of a major air force modernization alongside the Rafale. The F-15IDN is based on the F-15EX Eagle II configuration with Indonesian-specific modifications, featuring the APG-82(V)1 AESA radar, EPAWSS electronic warfare suite, and 12 weapons stations enabling carriage of up to 29 AMRAAMs. Indonesia becomes the first Southeast Asian F-15 operator.
