Overview
Soviet tracked infantry fighting vehicles providing Angolan mechanized infantry with protected mobility and firepower. Angola operates substantial numbers of BMP-1 and BMP-2 inherited from Soviet support during civil war. BMP-1 features 73mm gun and AT-3 Sagger ATGMs while BMP-2 has 30mm autocannon and AT-5 Spandrel ATGMs. Both amphibious with capacity for infantry squad.
