The HIMARS Extended Range variant integrates new Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) and Extended Range GMLRS (ER GMLRS) rounds to dramatically extend the reach of the combat-proven M142 HIMARS platform. The PrSM doubles the range to 500+ km while maintaining precision guidance, providing ground forces with deep strike capability previously requiring air assets.
