SİSTEM GENEL BAKIŞI
The Harimau (Kaplan MT in Turkish designation) is a medium tank developed jointly by FNSS of Turkey and PT Pindad of Indonesia, tailored for Indonesian Army requirements. Weighing approximately 35 tonnes, it is optimized for lighter bridge infrastructure and tropical terrain found across Indonesian islands. It fills a gap between Indonesia's Leopard 2 MBTs and Scorpion light tanks. Indonesia plans to procure over 50 units.
