SİSTEM GENEL BAKIŞI

Medium-altitude tactical unmanned aerial system serving as the IAF's primary multi-mission UAV platform. Named "Kochav" (Star) in Israeli service. Features a 15-metre wingspan with a Rotax 914 engine, maximum altitude of 30,000 feet, and endurance of 36 hours. Payload capacity of 350 kg supporting EO/IR gimbal, SAR, SIGINT, COMINT, laser designator, and maritime patrol configurations. The Hermes 900 has been extensively combat-proven in Israeli operations and is capable of armed operations with Elbit-developed precision munitions. Incorporates an automatic takeoff and landing system, de-icing capability for all-weather operations, and satellite datalink for extended-range control. The Starliner variant is certified for flight in civilian airspace — a critical export advantage. Exported to or operated by Brazil, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, and multiple additional customers. One of the most commercially successful tactical UAS programmes globally.
