ОБЗОР СИСТЕМЫ
The Tor-M2 is a short-range self-propelled SAM system using vertically launched 9M338K or 9M340 missiles. Uniquely, it can engage targets while the vehicle is moving — "shoot-on-the-move" capability critical for protecting armoured columns. Each vehicle carries 16 missiles in two quad-packs. Range is 16 km against aircraft; altitude coverage 10 km. The Tor-M2DT (Arktika) variant uses the DT-30 tracked arctic carrier for operations in extreme northern conditions. Russia has employed Tor-M2 extensively in Ukraine against cruise missiles and UAVs.
