NH90 Caiman
Medium-class twin-engine military helicopter serving the French Army (TTH variant as Caïman Terre) and French Navy (NFH variant as Caïman Marine). The 11-tonne helicopter features a full composite airframe, fly-by-wire flight controls, and modern glass cockpit. The TTH variant can transport 20 troops or 2,500 kg of internal cargo. The NFH naval variant is equipped with an active dipping sonar, 360-degree search radar, torpedo capability, and anti-surface warfare systems for autonomous ASW and ASuW missions from FREMM frigates and Mistral-class ships. France operates approximately 74 TTH and 27 NFH variants.
