Engin Blindé de Reconnaissance et de Combat — a 6x6 armoured reconnaissance and fire support vehicle developed as the centrepiece of the French Army's SCORPION modernization programme. Weighing 25 tonnes, it mounts a CT40 40mm cased-telescoped cannon with airburst programmable ammunition, two Akeron MP (MMP) anti-tank missile launchers, and a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun. Features an advanced optronic suite with panoramic sight, laser warning receivers, and acoustic shot detection. Fully networked via SICS with automatic target handoff capability between vehicles. 300 ordered for France with first operational use beginning 2022. Belgium has ordered 60.
