DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA

Primary strategic nuclear deterrent weapon deployed on Ohio-class and future Columbia-class SSBNs. Three-stage solid-fuel SLBM with range exceeding 12,000 km carrying multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs). Life Extension 2 (LE2) program ensures service through 2084. Also operated by the Royal Navy on Vanguard-class submarines.
