National infantry rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. Developed as the standard service rifle of the Turkish Armed Forces with gas-operated rotating bolt action. Features Picatinny rail system, folding stock, and ambidextrous controls. Also produced in 5.56mm variant as MPT-55.
