DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA
North Korea operates approximately 20 Mil Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters received from the Soviet Union. The Mi-24 uniquely combines heavy armament with troop-carrying capability in a single airframe. North Korean Mi-24s have never been modernized and retain original 1980s avionics. Severe parts shortages and fuel constraints limit operational hours. In modern conflict, Mi-24s would be highly vulnerable to South Korean air defense systems and shoulder-launched missiles.
