DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA
The M60A3 Patton serves as Ecuador's main battle tank alongside older AMX-13 light tanks. Acquired from surplus US stocks, the M60A3 features a laser rangefinder fire control system, stabilized 105mm main gun, and thermal imaging gunner's sight that were state-of-the-art in their era. While obsolete by modern standards, the M60A3 provides Ecuador with a credible armored deterrent against regional threats.
