DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA
The KJ-500 is China's most capable airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft, built on the Y-9 turboprop transport. It features a fixed triangular phased array radar system embedded in a circular rotodome that provides 360-degree coverage without mechanical rotation. The KJ-500 can track hundreds of targets simultaneously and provides battle management command for Chinese air operations.
