Buk-M1-2 Medium Air Defense
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA
The Buk-M1-2 (SA-17 Grizzly) is a medium-range Russian surface-to-air missile system. Using the 9M317 missile, it can engage targets at ranges up to 45 km and altitudes from 15 m to 25 km. Each battery consists of a command vehicle, target acquisition radar (9S18M1), fire control radar, and up to four transporter-erector-launchers carrying four ready missiles each. Azerbaijan fields the Buk-M1-2 to provide medium-altitude area air defense covering maneuver forces against aircraft and cruise missiles.
