The Boeing P-8A Poseidon is a maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft based on the Boeing 737-800ERX airframe, operated by 10+ nations. Replaces the P-3C Orion. Equipped with AN/APY-10 radar, electro-optical/infrared sensors, magnetic anomaly detector (MAD-XR), and sonobuoys. Armed with Mk 54 torpedoes, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and depth charges. Cruising speed: 907 km/h, range: 8,300 km, endurance: 10+ hours. Key operators: US Navy (100+), UK RAF, Australia, India, Norway, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, South Korea.
