Navantia
Navantia is Spain's state-owned shipbuilding and naval systems company, the primary builder of the Spanish Navy fleet and a significant naval exporter. Navantia has delivered F-100 Álvaro de Bazán Aegis frigates, the Juan Carlos I LHD (basis for Australia's Canberra class), patrol vessels, and corvettes/OPVs for Saudi Arabia. Strategic partnerships include supplying the Hobart-class AWD for Australia and participating in Australia's Hunter-class frigate design. Navantia also builds S-80 submarines for Spain's Navy and is developing the next-generation HNLMS De Ruyter platform concepts for Netherlands.
