Features Aegis combat system, VLS launching SM-2/ESSM air defense missiles, NSM anti-ship missiles, helicopter facilities, modular mission packages, and comprehensive sensors. Deliveries expected mid-to-late 2020s. Will provide air defense, anti-surface, anti-submarine, and patrol capabilities.
