Overview

Indigenous tank and armored vehicle repair center established 2026 representing significant defense industrial development. Facility provides maintenance, overhaul, and repair for Ugandan armor including T-90S and T-72B with Russian technical assistance. Reduces dependence on foreign support and enables sustained armored operations. Represents Ugandan 2026-2031 defense vision developing domestic capabilities.
