Overview

The Kfir C2/CE is a supersonic delta-wing multirole fighter derived from the French Mirage III/5 airframe and powered by a US General Electric J79 engine. Ecuador acquired Kfir aircraft to form its air superiority backbone, though the fleet is aging and being phased out. Despite their age, they remain capable in limited-threat environments with their Israeli-developed electronic systems.
