Overview
Vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing tactical unmanned aerial system developed by German company Quantum-Systems. Combines the hover capability of a multirotor with the endurance and speed of a fixed-wing aircraft through a tilt-rotor transition mechanism. Endurance of approximately 2 hours with an operational radius exceeding 40 km. Carries EO/IR payload with onboard edge computing for AI-assisted target detection and classification. Weighs approximately 7 kg for hand-portable deployment by small infantry units without launch equipment. Features encrypted datalink and integration with NATO standard tactical networks. Adopted by the Bundeswehr for company and platoon-level ISR, with significant export interest driven by combat validation in Ukraine.
