Overview
The Green Pine is an L-band phased-array radar that serves as the primary detection and tracking sensor for Israel's Arrow anti-ballistic missile system. It can detect and track ballistic missiles at ranges exceeding 500 km and provide fire control data for Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 interceptors. India has purchased the system for its own ballistic missile defense program, and it has been successfully tested in multiple intercept scenarios.
