Armored Vehicle Fleet

Overview

Cameroon operates a large mixed armored vehicle fleet of approximately 860 units combining Chinese and Russian-origin armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, and support vehicles. Includes BMP series IFVs, BTR APCs, and various Chinese Type-series vehicles. The large numerical count masks significant readiness and maintenance challenges.
