Overview
Saudi indigenous 4x4 armored personnel carrier produced domestically representing early Saudi defense industry success. Al-Fahd developed 1980s-90s with production continuing. Features 20mm or 25mm cannon options, capacity for 10 troops, mine protection, amphibious capability, and variants including command vehicle, ambulance, mortar carrier. Extensively used by Saudi forces and exported to multiple nations including Sudan, Somalia, and others. Continuous upgrades maintaining capability.
