Overview
Myanmar operates a mixed tank fleet including Russian T-72S (~50+ units) and Chinese Type 59D (~100+ units). The T-72S features 125mm 2A46M smoothbore gun while the upgraded Type 59D has a 105mm rifled gun with improved fire control. Both types provide armored firepower though are constrained by Myanmar's mountainous jungle terrain.
