Overview
The Singapore Army operates the domestically developed ST Engineering Bionix tracked infantry fighting vehicle. Variants include the Bionix II with 40mm automatic grenade launcher and Bionix 25 with 25mm M242 Bushmaster chain gun. Entered service in the 1990s, carrying 7 dismounts plus crew. Fully amphibious, featuring digital battle management system integration, NVG-compatible driving aids, and climate control. Being progressively replaced by the Hunter AFV, large numbers remain in service with regular army and national service units.
