Overview
New standard Russian military service pistol replacing the Makarov PM. Striker-fired 9x19mm Parabellum with 15-round magazine, low bore axis for reduced muzzle flip, ambidextrous controls, and integrated Picatinny rail. Lightweight polymer frame weighing 0.71 kg loaded. Mass production began in 2025 under Rostec with deliveries to Russian Armed Forces, FSB, and National Guard.
