Overview
The LD-3000 is a land-based close-in weapons system (CIWS) designed for base and installation protection against incoming rockets, artillery shells, mortar rounds, and low-flying aircraft. Derived from the H/PJ-12 naval CIWS but mounted on a wheeled vehicle, the LD-3000 uses a 7-barrel rotary 30mm cannon firing at 4,200-6,000 rounds per minute to create a dense "bullet wall" against incoming threats.
