Kongsberg Joint Strike Missile (JSM)

Overview

Air-launched anti-ship and land-attack missile developed by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace as an evolution of the NSM. Specifically designed to fit within the F-35A internal weapons bay, preserving stealth signature. Features passive IR seeker with autonomous target recognition and terrain-following low-altitude attack profile. Range estimated at 500+ km. Japan joined Norway as launch customer.
