Overview
The Kalaat Beni Hammad-class corvettes are Chinese-built C-28A derivative vessels operated by the Algerian Navy. Complementing the MEKO A-200 frigates, these corvettes extend Algeria's naval reach with anti-ship and anti-air capabilities across the Western Mediterranean. Algeria operates three vessels of this class alongside the C-28A Adhafer-class.
