Canadian advanced 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle procured by Saudi Arabia for mechanized forces modernization. LAV 700 represents evolution of proven LAV III/Stryker family featuring enhanced protection, modern turret with 30mm cannon, capacity for 9 infantry plus 3 crew, modular armor, mine protection, and advanced systems. Saudi procurement includes hundreds of vehicles replacing older wheeled armored vehicles. Deployment in border security and potentially Yemen operations.
