Overview
Latest evolution of the legendary Exocet anti-ship missile family with significantly enhanced digital capabilities. Range increased to over 200 km with a new turbojet sustainer engine. Features GPS/INS mid-course guidance with J-band active radar terminal seeker, plus an additional infrared imaging seeker for multi-mode target discrimination in complex littoral environments. Sea-skimming flight profile with terminal evasive manoeuvres. Block 3C adds a land-attack secondary capability using waypoint navigation. Weighs 870 kg. Launched from surface ships via standard quad launchers. The Exocet family has been combat-proven since the Falklands War and is in service with over 35 navies worldwide.
