Overview
Indonesia ordered 42 Dassault Rafale F3-R multirole fighters from France in a landmark 2022 deal worth approximately €8.1 billion. The Rafale F3-R is the current production standard featuring the SPECTRA electronic warfare suite, RBE2-AA AESA radar, and integration of the Meteor beyond-visual-range missile and SCALP-EG cruise missile. The Indonesian Rafale fleet will form the centerpiece of TNI-AU (Indonesian Air Force) modernization over the next decade.
