Overview
Air-Sol Moyenne Portée Amélioré - Rénové — France's airborne nuclear deterrent weapon, a supersonic nuclear-armed air-launched cruise missile carried by Rafale fighters. Features a ramjet engine enabling speeds exceeding Mach 3 at high altitude with a range of approximately 500 km. Carries the TNA (Tête Nucléaire Aéroportée) warhead with variable yield capability. The -R renovation introduces improved propulsion, guidance, and electronic countermeasures to ensure penetration of modern air defense systems.
