Overview
Indonesia operates H225M Caracal medium-lift combat helicopters for special operations support, combat search and rescue, and troop transport. The aircraft provides a significant capability upgrade over older NAS-332 Super Pumas, with modern avionics, self-protection systems, and a longer range suited to Indonesia's vast archipelagic geography. The TNI-AD (Army) uses them for elite Kostrad and special forces operations.
