South Korea has announced plans to significantly accelerate production of the K2 Black Panther main battle tank. Hyundai Rotem will expand its tank assembly facilities to increase annual production capacity. The acceleration comes in response to both domestic requirements and growing export interest from multiple countries seeking advanced armored capabilities.
