KNDS and Elbit Systems Land are establishing EuroPULS GmbH, a joint venture aimed at marketing the EuroPULS rocket artillery system to European militaries. This move consolidates resources to accelerate deployment of advanced artillery solutions across NATO and EU forces.

The EuroPULS system combines multiple rocket launcher technologies, leveraging Elbit's missile expertise and KNDS’s artillery platform know-how, building on existing Franco-German defense collaboration. This partnership seeks to rival competing systems like Russia’s Grad and US HIMARS in European theaters.

Strategically, EuroPULS aligns with NATO’s push for enhanced long-range precision fires, addressing gaps exposed by recent conflicts in Eastern Europe. The joint venture bolsters European autonomy in critical strike capabilities, reducing reliance on non-EU suppliers.

Technically, EuroPULS integrates modular rocket pods capable of firing various missile calibers, including guided and unguided munitions, with ranges reportedly exceeding 80 kilometers.
