About Yugoimport-SDPR
Yugoimport-SDPR (Special Development and Production Enterprise) is Serbia's state-owned defense export company responsible for development, production, and export of Serbian defense equipment. During the Yugoslav era it oversaw one of Europe's largest defense industrial complexes. Current production includes the Nora B-52 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer (exported to Kenya, Bangladesh, and others), ALAS anti-tank/ship guided missile, PASARS guided artillery shells, LRSVM multiple launch rocket systems, and various small arms. Serbia's Krušik plant produces mortar ammunition, and Zastava Arms produces firearms (CZ-99, M21 rifles). Yugoimport coordinates arms sales to the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
