Uraltransmash (Ural Transport Machinery Plant) in Yekaterinburg is Russia's specialist self-propelled artillery and air defense vehicle manufacturer. Part of the Rostec/UralVagonZavod group. Uraltransmash produces the 2S3 Akatsiya (152mm SPH), 2S19 Msta-S (152mm self-propelled howitzer, Russia's main artillery platform), 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV (152mm next-gen SPH, claimed 70+ km range), 2S4 Tyulpan (240mm self-propelled mortar), and the 2K22 Tunguska anti-aircraft system. The 2S19 Msta-S is the workhorse of Russian artillery divisions and has been widely exported. In the Russia-Ukraine war, Koalitsiya-SV was first used in combat, demonstrating extreme range advantages over NATO 155mm systems.
